Job Description:
• Manage all incoming data files from internal and external.
• Formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data.
• Develop/Maintain internal databases and conduct routine maintenance as needed to ensure data integrity.
• Design, prototype, develop, test, and document existing/new ETLs, and related components; make recommendations for related functions that result in a more cost-effective product delivery.
• Execution of regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis.
• Analysis of data to provide actionable insights for the business
• Assisting business areas with their information needs.
Qualifications:
• At least two years of related data management/data analysis experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometric or other quantitative disciplines
• Proficiency with UNIX and SQL.
• Strong programming skills in at least one language (#SAS, #Python)
• Exceptional quantitative and data analytics skills
• Experience in ETL tool & Autosys is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, great teammate and understanding of mortgage servicing.
• Strong problem-solving skills, Self-starter that takes initiative to fill in gaps where needed.
Technical Must Haves: Python (at least 2 years), SQL, UNIX, ETL, SAS
Soft Skill Must Haves: Must have excellent communication skills. They will have to interact with multiple parties and stakeholders, so they need to be very clear with both written and verbal communication. Multi-tasking experience and Detail-oriented must have soft skills for this position.
