We are seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to support our client's team.Job Title: Equipment Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Santa Ana, CAPay rate: $28-30 p/hEmployment Type: Temporary (3-4 months)FLSA Status: Non-exemptSchedule: M-F 7:30 am to 4:00 pmWhat You'll Do:Perform preventative maintenance tasks on Ultrasonic Welders, Radio-Frequency Welders, Laser Cutters (with filtration systems), Air Compressors and Supply lines, Deionizing Air Guns, Computer Controlled Photographic Cameras, and Heat Sealers to ensure quality production, maintaining the highest standards that our collectors depend onCollaborate with Engineering to develop and track PM schedules for process machinery—seeking feedback early and often to optimize maintenance protocolsPerform unplanned maintenance and troubleshooting tasks, putting the skunk on the table by communicating issues promptly so we can resolve them quicklyExecute machine upgrades and testing with a Collector Obsession mindset—understanding that every improvement impacts the quality of service we deliverPartner with Engineering and Production to implement maintenance logs, best practices, and operator-led maintenance tasks, bringing out the best in everyone through knowledge sharingIdentify opportunities for equipment and process improvements by understanding root causes and foundational issuesWork with cross-functional groups to determine standard maintenance procedures that support our long-term visionPerform other duties as assignedWho You Are:2+ years of proven, relevant experience as a maintenance techHands-on mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical aptitudeAbility to work in a deadline-sensitive environment while maintaining quality standardsTakes direction well and responds constructively to feedbackWritten and verbal communication skills in EnglishBasic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplying & dividing)Basic computer skills (Email, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office)Curious and eager to learn new processes and systems, you ask questions to ensure understanding and share knowledge with teammatesStrong attention to detail—you understand that every piece of equipment contributes to handling collectors' treasured itemsYou assume positive intent, treat colleagues with respect, and create an inclusive environmentYou think creatively about solutions and embrace long-term thinkingYou do the right thing even when no one is watching, prioritizing safety and quality over shortcutsFormer experience as a mechanic, service technician, machinist, or similarAssociate's Degree in Machining or Welding Technology
