BNO News is looking for an on-camera host for a new live streaming project covering breaking news and other newsworthy topics on YouTube, X, Facebook, and our other social media channels. You will lead broadcasts on camera, supported by a team providing news updates, graphics, and technical assistance. We’re looking for someone who follows the news closely, communicates confidently, and can guide viewers through a developing story with accuracy and impartiality. Live News Host — BNO News Remote | Paid opportunity Host live coverage of breaking news and regular broadcasts about other newsworthy topics. Present information supplied by BNO News and follow live sources to communicate developments as they happen. Explain relevant context and sustain informative coverage when there are no new confirmed updates. Coordinate with the team on information, graphics, and production. Maintain accuracy, clearly attribute information, and distinguish confirmed facts from unverified reports. Meet an agreed minimum number of weekly broadcasts and be available for occasional major breaking news events outside the regular schedule. What we’re looking for Fluent in English. Comfortable on camera, with clear speaking skills and a professional presentation. Able to think quickly, develop a topic, and adapt as new information becomes available. A strong interest in news and breaking news, with knowledge of the topics being covered. An impartial approach and an understanding of basic journalism principles. Availability aligned with U.S. time zones. Applicants may be based anywhere. Journalism, broadcasting, or live streaming experience is welcome, but we will also consider strong applicants without formal experience. Equipment Applicants should have a camera, microphone, reliable internet connection, and a suitable broadcasting space. Current equipment should be adequate for initial testing and the first broadcasts. BNO News may provide equipment upgrades if necessary to improve streaming quality.
